You are cordially invited to the Adventure Ted Launch Party Luncheon on Sunday November 10th at Vandal New York, a Tao Hospitality Group restaurant, from 12:00PM-3:30PM. All profits from this event will go towards our holiday wish granting budget to send a group of families battling childhood cancer on an all-expense paid VIP trip to Disney & Universal Theme Parks, with 5-Star accommodations at Give Kids The World Village (founded by Holocaust survivor Henri Landwirth).

Since I was 12-years old, I have been helping families battling childhood cancer. A few years later, I formally organized my support by way of founding Childhood Cancer Society, a volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Over the years, I have spent a lot of time working with children facing chronic and life threatening illnesses, and have gained some important incites.

Children with cancer can feel a lack of control in most areas of their life. Some make the realization, at an earlier age than most, that the only thing they have true control over is their mindset. In realizing this, they are empowered to see each day for the gift that it truly is, despite any adversity. A huge part in attaining this frame of mind, especially in children, is having an active imagination. It was with this in mind that I created Adventure Ted.

Centered around children’s book hero Adventure Ted, Adventure Ted LLC is a social brand of positivity created to inspire children to use their imaginations in order to overcome challenges. Our mission is to help children, and their families, cope with these childhood obstacles in lessons learned through our children’s book series, apparel lines, and toys.
